Well, I’ve never been really into German music… until a guy from Berlin recorded some German songs to me, including A Picture by Cellolitis.
Because I immediately fell in love with it, I started searching for more songs by this German artist and finally landed on a Youtube page with a nice playlist by the TV Noir, which I discovered to be a music channel and talk show that - coincidently - takes place in Berlin.
The guests in TV Noir are mostly German singer-songwriters, which is why the show also is called ‘Living Songwriter.’ An interesting feature is that the audience can suggest guests and evaluate past broadcasts on the TV Noir website. Another special feature is that the show is recorded in black and white.
Well, I myself liked most of the songwriters, which you can listen to here or access the official TV Noir website to find out more.
